Classroom Holiday Door Challenge

Piney Grove will be celebrating the holidays with a challenge! Classes will decorate their door keeping in mind the theme “ Tis the Season to be…” This sounds like a lot of fun and we have the chance to win one of the following prizes:

• The First Place Winner will receive a pizza party for their entire class and the opportunity to have their door appear in the Kernersville News.
• The Second Place Winner will receive an ice cream social.
• The Third Place Winner will receive candy canes for each student.

So, do you think we should participate? If so, how do you suggest we decorate our door to meet the theme: “ Tis the Season to be…” ? How should we end that sentence? Remember everyone should be involved! We should try to be creative and have FUN!

Thanksgiving 2009

It is almost turkey time! What will you do this Thanksgiving? Will you travel or will people come to your house? What are you thankful for this Thanksgiving?
